Who is my coach?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hi! I am Kyla Murch. I am the head instructor here at CK Horse Horizons (now known as Elevation Equestrian).

 

I have been instructing individuals for over 15 years, and I love it more and more with every passing year! It has taken a huge part of my life, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

 

I started teaching at private acreages when I was a teenager. When gasoline was inexpensive, and I was a free agent with the windows rolled down! As I matured into my young adulthood, I started teaching within a local riding club. The knowledge and experiene I was able to soak up has stayed with me, and I often refer back to those special moments in my life as I come across new and ambitious young riders!

 

As a young adult, I was aslo given the opportunity to ride at a world renown facility in California, an A-Circut show barn from Oregon, and spent many summers working as a groom, trainer and rider all throughout the mid-west United States and Western Canada. I was also fortunate enough to travel to Ontario for further schooling and experiences, and be involved in specialty clinics with the likes of Beth Underhill, Ian Millar, Crystal Kroetch, Cindy Ishoy and Betty Wells.

I am currently under professional training with PamAm medalist and International Dressage rider Crystal Kroetch, as well as EC Coach Janet Adams. With their support have achieved many championship titles with my competitive mount Navy Brat. I am also frequesting lessons with Henk Glijn here at Elevation.

 

Along with being a coach, I am a Registered Nurse, a mother of 3 girls, a wife and an avid volunteer to many organizations. 

 

Now, I am pleased and grateful to own and operate my own equestrian facility. It is my hope to share my knowledge, skill and passion for this amazing sport with YOU!
